After making changes to my Orthodontics Practice in the East Valley, I was introduced to the team at Ensign Financial Partners. They helped me design an investment plan for my assets with true “white glove” service. We discussed the need for additional tax breaks to minimize my tax liability. They included my current CPA in the conversation at their office. Having their financial, legal and tax team all around the conference table collaborating together was an experience I had never had before as a business owner and I loved it. As a result, Ensign was able to find me an additional $100K in tax deductions for last year and $50K moving forward for the next 10 years, all while funding my retirement. Can’t wait to have the Partners at Ensign solve my next challenge!
As a business owner, I wanted a plan to retain my employees as well as fund my own retirement. Early on, I started funding IRA’s but the amounts I could contribute did not get me the deductions I was looking for nor did they allow me to save enough money to see myself retiring comfortably in the future. The team at Ensign Financial Partners recommended I look at a “Safe Harbor” 401K plan for myself, my wife and employees I would fund automatically each year. Next, they added a profit sharing plan that gave me additional contribution limits that exceeded what I though was possible. Finally, they introduced me to a Defined Benefit Plan where I could create and fund my own Pension, all with pre-tax dollars. Now I can save up to $250,000 pre-tax in good years, but with flexibility should I need to make adjustments. I wish my CPA had suggested that…but he wasn’t even aware of this excellent tax saving retirement strategies. Nice to be part of the Ensign Financial Partners family…
